Overview of the Amazing Views from the Dome Property
This property is situated a couple of houses away from the Atlantic Ocean which offers wind protection from storms.
The backyard is next to a protected marsh which not only gives the property and guests a sense of privacy but also is an amazing place for bird-watching and general nature watching.
A quick 5-minute walk down the private road is one of the most beautiful beach accesses on the Hatteras National Seashore. The trees arch over the pathway as you reach the dune and neighborhood children have been lining the trees with seashells and moss for years.
During Summertime the Atlantic Ocean looks bright blue and guests always feel like they’re in the Bahamas, I certainly do!
Amenities Offered at the Dome Airbnb
Getting to the Outer Banks is always difficult so as Airbnb hosts we do our best to provide great amenities for our guests. For me that starts with comfortable beds, linens, and hotel-quality towels.
In the kitchen that’s modern kitchen utensils, sharp knives (a personal pep-peeve of mine), and spices.
We provide coffee and a couple ways to make it: standard drip machines and pour-over.
No beach house would be complete without an outdoor shower!
Incredible Water Sports Opportunities in OBX
One of the reasons people love coming to OBX is for the water sports. Kitesurfing and surfing are two popular activities that guests can enjoy, and our property is located in an area known for great waves.
Guests can also go kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding on the sound. One of my favorite places is the Salvo Day Use park which is about a mile away, but you can literally walk across the street and you’re standing in the Sound.
The Outer Banks is one of the best destinations in the world for sport fishing. I’ve yet to hop on a boat and head out but one of the things that makes the National Seashore unique for fishing is the proximity to the continental shelf.
