“Nick has created a unique and amazing space in a beautiful area. We loved sitting on the porch overlooking the trees, listening to the river in the distance and just enjoying the natural beauty. Nick also made check-in and check-out easy with detailed instructions. Make sure you review his guidebook for the area – we had great experiences at Good Brewing Co, Zeke’s, LouSki’s Deli and the Espresso Chalet (great view of the mountain and falls!). We also enjoyed exploring Index. The couple of days that we stayed in August saw daytime highs in the 80s and the recently added portable AC unit and fans were a lifesaver.”

“I loved staying 2 nights and wish I could stay longer. This place is so peaceful and private. I loved that the 3 doors could fold open to make the space feel larger. My fav spot was the hammock chair. I climbed the ropes down to the river and found a great plunge spot but don’t recommend it if you are not comfortable with steep hiking and having to use ropes. I slept on the couch as I have a back that is very picky about mattresses and my back ddint like the loft one. I’m sure others will think it’s fine. I will definitely be back and hope to bring a friend next time, or not haha”

“The space was absolutely lovely. The 2 of us enjoyed our time in north bend and the tree house was the perfect place to crash after our days of adventure. We truly enjoyed every moment we spent at the tree house! The projector made for very cozy evenings and the loft bed was very comfortable. The entire space was charming. “What a beautiful haven on Whidbey Island. This is a perfect getaway spot to be close to nature but in luxury. The location was excellent — close to the ferry and several very cute towns. Max gave us some excellent recommendations for food and also built a wonderful bonfire for us on our final evening. Bed was comfy, kitchen had more than enough tools if we wanted to cook meals, and views are unbeatable. We hated to leave but look forward to visiting again!”
